Success Through Your Job
55Is Your Job Your Passion
Do you not concur that the sound of work now has a downbeat connotation to it. Ah man I have to go to work. Oh man tomorrow is Monday & back to work I go.
But what if you love your work. What if you love waking up in the morning excited about getting to your work?
What a game changer that would be. We would have to change the word work to play.
Seriously, what is the difference between play time and work time? The connotation associated with the words "play time" is that we will enjoy it, that it is fun and exciting.
Well what if we found our work to be fun and exciting would it not then be considered play time?
Personally I enjoy my work. I find it interesting, entertaining and fun. Bascially it is play time for me.
It blows my mind why so many people stay trapped doing work they can not stand doing.
My guess is they picked up the first job they considered to be good enough to pay the bills. They either did this out of fear that they needed this job or they have never really given much thought to what they would truly like to do with their life.
I recommend that you sit down and be honest with yourself, determine exactly what it is you would like to do for the rest of your life. It is never ever to late!
Once you have decided what it is you would truly like to do, then start figuring out the steps you need to take to get there.
Put a plan in place to make it happen. Sure it might take some time and effort to make it a reality. Maybe you will have to go back to school. Maybe it will take you 3 -5 years to get the training or education for that line of work.
Do not let the negative thought that getting to your goal is going to take to much time, enter your head. It makes zero difference how long it takes. You do not like your present situation so this is where you need to be headed!
Every journey begins with a first step. Take that step, do not let little cares or worries prevent you from starting on the journey towards reaching your goal. You can do this and deserve to.
