Don't Follow Their Advice

 In my head I can still hear our mum scolding us children with "Do not follow the crowd"!

When i was younger I probably did not see it that way, because I wanted to be part of the crowd and be popular or what have you.

However as I became a young man...  I quickly discovered and have found that in life she was right. 

 Following the crowd is doing what society tells you, that you should do.  Go to school, work for a big company, have 2.5 kids and a dog, and hopefully retire at age 65 with the aid of the government on a wages of 40% of what you could'nt manage to live with to begin with.  What kind of life is that?

The worst part is, deep down we all want more out of life, everyone truly would prefer to accomplish so much more.

But nobody ever become great by following the crowd. 

Then why do we continue to follow the crowd?  They are not going where you really deep down want to go.  .

Do not let yourself get fooled into thinking if the crod, my friends and fmaily, etc, think it is right, then it must be right.

The people we admire, look up to, are those who wrote the Motivational Quotes and they learned along time ago to not go along with what is popular.  They went their own way.  They broke away from stressing about the concerns of others.  Persons like this gained courage as a consequence they jumped out from behind the crowd and went on their own.

They faced their fear.  Resulting in them making it to the top.  They succeed because they went for it.  They got to go places the crowd will never go. 

The question then is what can you do to make this happen for you?  It comes down to finding a mentor!

If everyone is doing something, stop and ask yourself if it is going to help you really create the life you desire?

Look for a person who accomplished or became what you want to accomplish or become.  Afterward in simple terms stick to their plan.

The get ready for it, your friends will get uncomfortable, you will feel them acting weird around you, and they will try and pressure you to come back to the shadows of the crowd... as in their heads they are fearful you will accomplish something and that scares the day lights out of them for the reason that this has stolen each of the excuses for how come they have not done what you did!
